HEAVYWEIGHT SIBERIA

The tomato variety Heavyweight Siberia is an early-maturing, large-fruited variety with a low-growing bush reaching a height of 40 to 60 cm. The plant exhibits good cold resistance, allowing it to be grown both in open and protected soil. For larger fruits, partial suckering is recommended, although the variety can grow without this procedure. Seeds are sown for seedlings 50-60 days before transplanting, with an optimal germination temperature of 23-25°C. When transplanting into the ground, plant approximately 5 plants per square meter.

The fruits of the Heavyweight Siberia tomato are large, weighing from 173 to 500 grams, with a flattened-heart shape and bright pink or raspberry color. The skin is smooth and glossy, the flesh is juicy, meaty, and low-seeded. Due to its excellent flavor, the tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making salads, juice, ketchup, tomato paste, and winter preserves.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching approximately 2.8 kg per square meter, and dense fruiting. The plant develops well in sunny locations, promoting the formation of large and flavorful fruits.
