Description
Tomato variety Hutorsky Zasolochny is a late-maturing indeterminate variety with medium-height plants, recommended for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground. Plants form a single stem with mandatory removal of suckers and tying up several days after transplanting. Sowing for seedlings is carried out at the end of February – beginning of March, transplanting at the stage of first true leaf, and seedling transplanting is performed at the beginning to mid-May, when plants are 50–55 days old. The recommended planting scheme is 40x60 cm.
Fruits of this variety are round, weighing from 90 to 110 grams, with a bright orange color. They are characterized by high storability — ripe fruits can be stored for 3–5 months, making this variety especially convenient for long-term storage. Green and ripe tomatoes do not crack during salting, retaining dense, crisp flesh and excellent flavor, making this variety ideal for pickling and salting.
Hutorsky Zasolochny variety is characterized by high yield — from one plant, you can harvest 3.5 to 4.5 kg of fruit. It possesses resistance to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, and cladosporiosis, which contributes to stable and high-quality harvest even under unfavorable conditions.
