Description
Intuition is intended for cultivation in plastic and glass-covered greenhouses, and can also be grown using seedlings or direct sowing. Seedlings should be sown at the end of February to early March, with seeds planted at a depth of 1–1.5 cm, and transplanting into greenhouses occurs when the seedlings are 50–55 days old, usually at the end of April. Supplemental lighting is required during seedling growth, and plants must be staked and shaped into a single stem with removal of suckers and lower leaves. The first flower cluster forms above the 9th–10th leaf, and the growth point should be pinched off at the end of the vegetative period.
This variety is characterized by high yield — one plant can produce 4.5–5 kg of fruit. Tomato Intuition is resistant to such diseases as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, making it a reliable choice for greenhouse cultivation. Fruits with high sugar content are ideal for fresh consumption, summer salads, and whole-fruit canning. The crop prefers warmth and light, thrives in light, fertile soils, and responds positively to fertilizers, which promotes stable and high-quality yields.
