Description
The fruits of tomato 'Iskorka' have an oval, elongated shape and bright red color with a shiny, smooth skin. The weight of one tomato ranges from 80 to 110 grams. Fruits form in clusters of 5–10 pieces, possess a classic flavor, are juicy and resistant to cracking. Thanks to their dense skin, tomatoes maintain their market appearance for a long time, withstand transportation well, and can be stored under cool conditions for up to two months.
The 'Iskorka' variety is grown using seedlings: seeds are sown in March into nutrient-rich substrate at a depth of 1–2 cm, germination occurs within 7–10 days. Seedlings are cultivated at a temperature of +22–25°С with regular watering and mineral fertilizer applications. Transplanting into the ground is performed at the end of May, selecting a sunny spot with nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil and good drainage. Harvest begins in July, with up to 7 kg of tomatoes per bush. The variety is resistant to diseases and pests, further enhancing its attractiveness for cultivation both for private and commercial purposes.
