Description
It is a determinate plant type, meaning limited growth and compact bush form, which simplifies care and harvesting. Kakadu tomato is distinguished by high yield and stable fruiting, which is especially valued by gardeners. The fruits have a firm skin and balanced tomato flavor, making them an excellent option for fresh consumption, as well as for making salads and other dishes.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to train the plant into one or two stems, removing excess suckers and tying up the bushes to supports. Sowing seedlings should be done at the end of March to early April, with transplanting in the phase of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in May and into open ground in June with an optimal planting scheme of 40x50 cm. The yield of this variety reaches up to 7 kg per square meter, making Kakadu tomato a profitable and productive choice for gardeners.
