Tomato Kristina is an early-maturing determinate variety, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers. Plants reach a height of 60-75 cm, forming compact bushes with the first fruiting cluster appearing above the 5th-6th leaf, and subsequent clusters emerging every 1-2 leaves. Planting density is approximately 5 plants per square meter, ensuring optimal yield of up to 15 kg per square meter.
The fruits of tomato Kristina are large in size and vary in shape: they can be flat-round or plum-shaped, weighing from 90 to 120 grams, occasionally reaching 190 grams. The color of ripe fruits ranges from deep red to orange. The fruits have a smooth surface with slight ridges near the stem and contain 4-6 seed chambers. They possess medium density, juicy and aromatic flesh with high flavor quality, as well as valuable nutritional properties due to high carotene content.
The variety exhibits good resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, alternaria, phytophthora, as well as cracking and blossom end rot. Kristina demonstrates high cold tolerance and is well-adapted to various climatic conditions thanks to its well-developed root system, which ensures plant nutrition even under adverse conditions.
