Description
The fruits of tomato Legend have a bright, saturated red color and a round-oval or flat-round shape with a small tip. Fruit weight ranges from 120-140 g to 400-600 g, and when 2-3 fruits are left on a cluster, the mass can reach 1.5 kg. Tomatoes are multi-chambered, very juicy, with excellent taste qualities and low tendency to cracking. Due to these characteristics, the variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into juice, paste, whole-fruit conservation, and pickling. High marketability and transportability of the fruits make this variety popular for various purposes, including use in restaurants.
The Legend variety is characterized by high resistance to most tomato diseases, including late blight, as well as heat and drought tolerance. It demonstrates stable yields both in protected ground and open field, with yields exceeding 25 kg/m² and about 20 kg/m² respectively. Recommended planting density is 2-3 plants per square meter. Fruits are rich in mineral salts, vitamins, carbohydrates, and organic acids, making them not only delicious but also beneficial for health.
