Description
The fruits of this tomato have an inverted egg shape, turn red upon ripening, and weigh between 50 to 90 grams. They feature dense flesh and smooth skin, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning. Each plant forms 3-4 intermediate trusses, each containing 6-8 fruits, ensuring a yield of up to 3 kg per square meter under proper agronomic practices.
The ripening period is 65-70 days, allowing harvest as early as the first days of August. The recommended planting scheme is 50 cm by 50 cm. Seedlings should be sown in the second half of April, and transplanted into the ground after June 10. Leningradsky Khолодok does not require pinching, simplifying plant care. This tomato variety is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain an early, flavorful, and resilient yield under challenging conditions.
