MALINOVY SLON

The 'Malinovy Slon' tomato variety is a medium-ripening determinate variety with a period from germination to fruiting of about 110-120 days. The plant is medium to tall, reaching heights from 70 cm to 2 m, requiring staking and bush formation for easier cultivation. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in polyethylene greenhouses and in open ground, primarily in southern regions where climatic conditions favor full development of tomatoes.

The fruits of the 'Malinovy Slon' variety have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing and are characterized by a rich dark pink color. Fruit mass varies from 150-200 g to 400-500 g, depending on cultivation conditions and agronomic practices. The flesh of the tomatoes is tender, with a pleasant sweet taste and high carotene content, making them especially nutritious and tasty. Due to their flavor qualities, the fruits are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making salads, juices, and tomato sauces.

To achieve a high yield, it is recommended to sow seedlings in late March – early April, followed by transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Planting in the ground is conducted in late May – early June. Regular staking, feeding, and harvesting fruits at the breaker stage with subsequent ripening contribute to increased yield. The yield of this variety reaches approximately 6.5 kg per square meter, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers seeking a high-quality and abundant tomato harvest.
