MALINOVY ZVON

Tomato Malinovy Zvon is a medium-ripening determinate variety with a vegetative period of 110-115 days from seedlings to mass fruiting. The plant is bushy, strong, with sturdy and branched stems, reaching a height of 0.6 to 1.1 meters. Bushes require staking and pruning for optimal growth and fruiting. The root system is well-developed, which contributes to plant stability and high yield.

Tomato fruits are smooth, round, pink-maline in color, weighing from 110 to 190 grams. They are distinguished by excellent taste qualities, absence of green spot at the stem scar, and resistance to cracking. Due to these characteristics, tomatoes are suitable for both fresh seasonal consumption and processing into juices and purées.

The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases, such as late blight, tobacco mosaic virus, Alternaria, and Fusarium, which simplifies care and increases crop reliability. It is recommended for cultivation in open ground or in plastic greenhouses. Seedlings grown from seeds sown in March–April are used for planting after the end of frosts, at a spacing of 50x70 cm. The plant prefers light, loose, and fertile soil, requires regular but moderate watering, loosening, weeding, and fertilization.
