Description
Tomato MARSIANKA is a medium-early determinate variety with a period from germination to fruit maturity of about 105–107 days. The plant is compact, 50–55 cm tall, with medium-leafed green leaves and simple inflorescences. Fruits are round, slightly ribbed, medium density, weighing 67–120 grams depending on growing conditions. Immature fruits are green, turning to a deep red when ripe. The number of locules in the fruit is 4–6, ensuring good structure and flavor. The variety is high-yielding, reaching up to 70 tons per hectare, with a commercial fruit yield of 70–97%. During the first decade of fruiting, yield may reach up to 18.7 tons per hectare. Fruits have excellent taste both fresh and processed, with dry matter content in juice of 6.1–6.4% and total sugar content of 3.1–3.6%. Due to their dense structure, fruits withstand transportation well, do not crack, and retain their quality during storage. MARSIANKA is resistant to late blight and other diseases, making it a reliable choice for open-field cultivation, especially in regions with suitable climates. The variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products. The compactness of the plant and high fruit set ensure ease of care and harvest, making this tomato attractive to farmers and gardeners.
