MIDNIGHT

Tomato Midnight is a unique cherry variety with purple-black fruits, distinguished not only by their attractive appearance but also by their high content of natural antioxidants similar to those found in blueberries. The fruits are round, about 4 cm in diameter, with a strong aroma and a distinctly dark color that develops under sunlight. These tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption and for making summer salads.

The plant is indeterminate, characterized by a vigorous bush reaching 150-180 cm in height and 90-120 cm in width. For proper growth and fruit formation, support is recommended. The first truss forms above the ninth leaf, bearing 15-20 fruits weighing approximately 30 g each. The variety is known for its high yield — up to 12-15 kg per square meter at a planting density of 3-4 plants per m² and formation on 1-2 stems.

Growing Tomato Midnight begins with sowing seeds in trays with 6x6 cm cells, one seed per cell, lightly covered with agroperlite to maintain moisture. The optimal temperature for germination is 21-24 °C, at which seeds germinate within 2-3 days. It is recommended to grow seedlings outdoors, ensuring high substrate and air humidity during the initial stage. The variety is resistant to tomato mosaic virus and complex of other diseases, making it a reliable choice for gardeners.
