MIKHNEVEC

Tomato Mikhnevets is a Russian determinate variety developed at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nursery". The plant has a compact bush about 74 cm tall, requiring no pinching, which simplifies care and allows growing it in open ground and simple plastic greenhouses. The leaves are twice-pinnate, semi-vertical, medium in length and width, green, and the stem lacks anthocyanin pigmentation. Flowers form above the 7th-8th leaf, and the pedicel is equipped with a joint, facilitating harvest.

The fruits of tomato Mikhnevets are flat-round, medium density, and slightly ribbed. Immature fruits have a light green color with a dark spot near the pedicel, and upon ripening, they become intensely red and uniform in color. The average fruit weight is about 55-65 g, with individual specimens reaching up to 200 g. Inside the fruit, there are 4 to 7 seed chambers. The taste of the fruits is excellent, making this variety particularly attractive for salad use.

The variety is characterized by stable and high yield, reaching 5.4-5.5 kg per square meter in open ground. The fruits ripen uniformly, enabling efficient harvest.
