Monomakh'S Hat

Tomato "Monomakh's Hat" is a mid-season variety with a vegetation period from 110 to 125 days, allowing harvest at optimal times. The plant forms a tall, robust bush up to 1-1.6 meters high with two stems and long branches covered with dark green leaves. For successful growth, choose sunny spots protected from drafts, and provide additional support for branches. Sowing seeds for seedlings is done at the end of winter or beginning of spring, and seedlings are transplanted into the soil after 60-65 days to obtain an early harvest.

The fruits of tomato "Monomakh's Hat" are large in size and flat-round in shape with a slightly ribbed surface. The weight of one tomato ranges from 350 grams to 1 kilogram, with flesh possessing a rich red color and sweet taste due to high sugar content. The fruit skin is dense and smooth, providing good storage quality and resistance to damage. Up to 4 kg of yield can be harvested per plant per season, making this variety highly productive.

This tomato is versatile in use: it is suitable for fresh consumption in salads and appetizers, as well as for making juices, sauces, pastes, and canning. The plant prefers light, fertile soils and moderate watering, as excessive moisture may cause fruit cracking. The variety exhibits good resistance to various diseases and can withstand temperature fluctuations within the range of 23-25ºC, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in different climatic conditions.
