MOSKVICH

The Moscow variety tomato is an early-maturing, determinate variety with plant height ranging from 28 to 40 cm, making it low-growing and suitable for cultivation in open ground. The fruits of this variety are round or flat-round, red, slightly ribbed, weighing from 40 to 75 grams, juicy and sweet, with good flavor qualities. The ripening period is 95-110 days, allowing harvest before the onset of phytophthora and other diseases.

The Moscow variety is characterized by high yield — from 1.5 to 4.5 kg per square meter, equivalent to 146-445 centners per hectare. The plant does not require pinching, grows well in dense planting, and is resistant to various adverse conditions, including sharp temperature fluctuations, extreme weather, and diseases such as phytophthora, alternaria, and verticillium. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the Northern, Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, and East Siberian regions.

Moskvich is versatile in application: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling. The super-early ripening period and cold resistance make this variety especially attractive for gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality tomato harvest in open ground.
