Northern Star

Northern Star — a mid-season salad tomato variety characterized by a tall indeterminate plant type. The period from germination to the start of fruiting ranges from 110 to 140 days. Plants are formed into one or two stems, requiring mandatory staking and pruning to ensure optimal growth and development. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground, making it a versatile choice for various growing conditions.

The fruits of the Northern Star variety have a cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and red color. They possess medium density and weigh between 150 and 250 grams. Yield per plant can reach up to 4 kg, and up to 8 kg per square meter of marketable fruit. Tomatoes are distinguished by their excellent fresh fruit flavor and resistance to major diseases, enhancing their appeal to gardeners and farmers. Due to their qualities, the fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and full-fruit canning and processing into tomato products.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to follow agronomic practices, including timely staking and pruning of plants.
