PHANTOMAS

Tomato PHANTOMAS is a medium-maturing indeterminate hybrid with a fruiting period of 110-115 days from seedlings to fruiting. Plants are tall and heavily branching, with a strong short inflorescence bearing 5-6 round red fruits weighing 120-140 g. The hybrid is distinguished by high fruit firmness and good transportability, making it convenient for cultivation and marketing. Plants should be trained into a single stem with mandatory staking to ensure optimal growth and development.

PHANTOMAS is resistant to a number of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, fusarium, and gall nematode, significantly increasing crop reliability. The hybrid exhibits good fruit set under various growing conditions, contributing to a stable yield of up to 5 kg per plant. Recommended planting density is 2.2-2.4 plants per square meter, with spacing of 40x50 cm between plants.

Cultivation agronomy includes sowing seedlings in mid-to-late March, with transplanting at the first or second true leaf stage. Seedlings should be fertilized 2-3 times with complete fertilizer and acclimatized 7-10 days before transplanting. Transplanting into plastic or winter greenhouses should occur in early-to-mid May, when seedlings are 45-65 days old. Regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization are required during the vegetative period to ensure full plant development and maximum yield.
