Picador

Tomato Picador F1 is an early-maturing determinate hybrid reaching up to one meter in height and beginning to bear fruit 95–100 days after germination. The plant forms its first flower clusters above the 7th–8th leaf, and subsequent ones appear 1–2 leaves later. Bunches are simple, with 3–5 round, glossy, deep red fruits featuring a characteristic nipple. Each fruit weighs approximately 150 grams, making them convenient for various uses.

The fruits of tomato Picador have a dense wall structure and flesh with a slight acidity, providing high taste quality. They do not crack, store well, and are easy to transport, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling. It is recommended to train plants into 3–4 stems at a planting density of 3–4 plants per square meter, which contributes to high yields — up to 12 kg per square meter in open ground and up to 14–16 kg in protected environments.

Hybrid Picador is resistant to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, verticillium wilt, and fusarium. Due to its compact growth and disease resistance, this variety is suitable for both professional cultivation and home gardens. Tomato Picador seeds are sold in packages of 20 and are intended for obtaining a stable, high-quality yield of red tomatoes.
