Pink Beauty

The tomato "Pink Beauty" is an indeterminate variety with unlimited growth, suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground. The plant reaches a height of 170-200 centimeters and requires mandatory support on stakes or trellises, as well as regular pinching and formation into a single stem for optimal development. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf, and planting in greenhouses in May, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. At the end of the vegetation period, it is necessary to pinch the growth point and remove lower leaves to improve ventilation and plant health.

The fruit of this tomato has an impressive appearance: they are flat-round in shape, deeply ribbed and corrugated, resembling a accordion, and when cut open, resemble a flower. The weight of a single tomato ranges from 200 to 350 grams, with the largest specimens reaching up to 700 grams. Unripe fruits are light green, while ripe ones take on a raspberry-pink hue. The fruit is multi-chambered, with abundant flesh and a small number of seeds. The taste is pleasant, sweet with a slight acidity, and sweetness intensifies under hot weather. Yield is average: from one plant, you can harvest 5 to 7 kilograms of marketable fruits, which store well and ripen indoors.

The "Pink Beauty" variety is resistant to a number of diseases, including Fusarium wilt, leaf spot, tobacco mosaic, Alternaria stem canker, Verticillium wilt, Cladosporium, and nematodes. Due to its excellent taste and attractive appearance, tomatoes of this variety are widely used both fresh and for processing into tomato products, including for making thick and flavorful juice. For successful cultivation, proper watering, fertilization, and timely thinning are recommended.
