Description
The fruits of Tomato Pink Samparaday have a flat-round shape with a weight up to 250 grams, bright pink-purple color, and medium density. They are six-chambered or more, without green spots, with thin skin, making them attractive to consumers. The fruits have excellent flavor, resistance to cracking and blossom end rot, good keeping quality during long-distance transport, and are suitable for fresh market and freezing. Yield in polyethylene greenhouses reaches 19.1 kg per square meter.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, cladosporiosis, tomato mosaic virus, as well as intermediate resistance to nematodes and gray leaf spot. Thanks to these characteristics and strong growth, Pink Samparaday F1 is a competitive variety, surpassing many analogs in fruit set stability and disease resistance. Hand harvesting is recommended to maintain fruit quality.
