Polyus

The tomato 'Polus' is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting ranges from 90 to 105 days, allowing harvest as early as mid-summer. Plants are vigorous, reaching heights of 50–90 cm, heavily foliated, and require staking and pruning; however, without care, they can support themselves and continue to grow. The variety is highly drought-tolerant, making it ideal for areas with limited irrigation.

The fruits of tomato 'Polus' are flat-round, slightly ribbed, dense, and fleshy. Their weight ranges from 100 to 200 grams, and their color is vivid red or sunny. The flesh is juicy and dense with jelly-like seed chambers, with a balanced flavor combining sweetness and acidity. Tomatoes form clusters of 5–8 fruits, with even and stable fruiting, no skips, ensuring high yield.

The 'Polus' variety is highly productive: within the first two harvests, yield reaches 6–8 kg per square meter. Due to their flavor and dense fruit structure, tomatoes are recommended for fresh consumption. This variety is especially suitable for busy gardeners, as it tolerates minimal care and can grow successfully even without regular watering, pinching, or staking.
