Description
The fruits of the Poseidon tomato have a round-oval shape with a uniform maroon or pink hue, without green spot at the stem end or white core inside. The average weight of one fruit is 95-140 grams. The flesh is firm, ensuring good transportability and long-term storage without quality loss. The flavor is excellent, making this tomato ideal for salads.
The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and has moderate resistance to alternaria and septoria. It tolerates heat well, allowing cultivation in various climatic conditions. The yield in open fields reaches 75-78 tons per hectare, while in plastic greenhouses it is 12-13.5 kg per square meter. Due to its combination of high productivity, excellent taste, and disease resistance, Poseidon tomato is one of the best early hybrids on the market.
