POTATO ORANGE

Tomato Potatо Orange — an early-maturing variety, intended for cultivation in container culture on windowsills, balconies, as well as in open ground under temporary cover. The plant is compact, super-determinate, reaching a height of 25 to 40 cm, making it suitable for limited spaces and decorative purposes. Leaves are about 21 cm long, inflorescences are simple and intermediate, compact, 12-15 cm long.

Tomato fruits have a round, slightly elongated shape, weighing from 15 to 75 g, with 2-3 chambers. When ripe, they turn bright amber-orange and possess a sweet taste with a pleasant honey aroma. Such tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, whole-fruit canning, pickling, and garnishing salads.

For good yield, it is recommended to sow seedlings in March–early April, followed by pinching in the phase of the first true leaf. Transplanting seedlings into the ground is carried out at the beginning to mid-May or late May–early June. The yield of this variety reaches approximately 1.5 kg per plant, making it attractive for home cultivation and small gardens.
