PURPLE GALAXY

The Purple Galaxy tomato variety is a tall indeterminate plant, reaching heights of 1.3 to 1.7 meters. The plants are robust and require staking and pruning for optimal growth and fruiting. Fruits form in clusters of 6–7, each weighing 50–80 grams. This variety is characterized by high and stable yields, with fruits ripening over an extended period.

The tomato fruits have a unique coloration, ranging from dark purple to nearly black, with characteristic golden speckles and stripes, giving them an appearance reminiscent of distant galaxies. The fruit skin is firm, while the flesh is juicy and meaty with a small number of seeds. The flesh is red when cut open. The flavor is balanced, sweet with subtle fruity and spicy notes, and a slightly tart-sweet undertone, making them versatile for various culinary uses.
