Tomato 'Rabbit Ears' is a medium-early determinate variety of Siberian selection, characterized by its universal use and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments. The plant is bushy, medium-height, reaching 0.5 to 1 meter, making it convenient for care and harvest. The variety is resilient and resistant to temperature fluctuations, ensuring stable fruiting even under adverse weather conditions.
The fruits of this tomato have a distinctive pepper-shaped, elongated form, which gave the variety its original name. They are bright red with dense and very tasty flesh, weighing from 80 to 180 grams. Tomatoes possess excellent flavor and commercial qualities, ripen well on the plant, and are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling, canning, and preparing various dishes.
The yield of this variety is high — up to 4 kg per plant or up to 20 kg per square meter. Despite overall resilience, plants may be susceptible to diseases such as late blight, powdery mildew, and blossom end rot, so it is recommended to follow agronomic preventive measures.
