Description
Fruits of the "Red Banana" tomato have an elongated cylindrical shape, 10-12 cm long, with a blunt tip and weight of 70 to 110 grams. They are characterized by their fleshiness, dense structure, and high sugar content, giving them an excellent taste. Due to their qualities, these tomatoes are suitable for both fresh salads and whole-fruit canning. The variety is known for its consistent fruiting, good storability, resistance to cracking, and ease of transport.
Yield per plant reaches 2.5-3 kg, and per plant cluster — about 3 kg. The variety is recommended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary film coverings. Pruning to 1-3 stems and staking facilitate care and ensure high-quality harvest. "Red Banana" is valued for its superior taste and commercial qualities, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and home canners.
