Description
The fruit has an elongated-cylindrical shape and a uniform red color. The weight of a single fruit varies from 80 to 200 grams, depending on growing conditions and bush formation. The flesh is very dense with a high content of dry matter, ensuring excellent storability, resistance to cracking, and high transportability. Up to 12-15 fruits form simultaneously on one cluster, contributing to high yields of 8.5-9.0 kg per square meter.
The 'Red Ice' variety is recommended for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning. Due to its dense flesh and high marketability, the fruits are suitable for long-term storage and transportation. A distinctive feature of this variety is prolonged fruiting, allowing harvest over several months, starting in July and continuing until August. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to form the bush with 1-2 stems and follow a planting scheme of 3-4 plants per square meter.
