RED LEADER

Red Leader Tomato — an early maturing determinate variety with a compact bushy plant, 45-60 cm tall, which practically does not require pruning, staking, or pinching. The plant is highly resistant to adverse weather conditions, including short-term frosts, as well as fungal and bacterial diseases. Due to its cold and drought tolerance, this variety is well-suited for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings.

The tomato fruits are round in shape and have an attractive light-pink color both in the skin and flesh. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 100 to 150 grams. The flesh is juicy, medium-density, with a rich sweet and succulent flavor, making this variety ideal for fresh consumption, early salads, and processing into sauces and preserves. Tomatoes are well-suited for transport and retain their quality for up to 1.5 months when stored at temperatures between +5 to +12 degrees Celsius.

The vegetation period of the variety ranges from 80 to 112 days depending on growing conditions. High yield — up to 6 kg per plant — and uniform fruiting make Red Leader an excellent choice for gardeners who value the combination of flavor, ease of cultivation, and plant resilience. Sowing seedlings is recommended in March, and transplanting into the ground — in May.
