Description
The 'Red Rooster' variety is characterized by high productivity and disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary plastic covers. Yield reaches 4-6 kg per square meter, and up to 3 kg per plant with proper agronomy. It is recommended to stake plants after transplanting for better formation and support of fruits.
Growing techniques include sowing seedlings at the end of March to early April, with transplanting into the first true leaf stage. Transplanting seedlings into the ground or greenhouse is done in May, following a planting scheme of 40x50 cm. Fruit ripening period is 85-95 days, allowing harvest in July-August. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling, thanks to its flavor and meaty fruit structure.
