RED JAY

Red Jay tomato is an early-maturing variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers. The plants are determinate, reaching up to 160 cm in height, requiring mandatory staking and partial suckering to ensure optimal growth and fruiting. The fruits of this variety are round, smooth, and pink in color, weighing from 18 to 20 grams, with a sweet and tender flavor, making them attractive for fresh consumption and culinary use.

The fruits form in clusters, each containing 10 to 15 tomatoes, contributing to high yield and stable fruiting. The variety is characterized by excellent fruit set, resistance to temperature fluctuations and low light conditions, ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions. Thanks to good transportability and storability, the tomatoes retain their quality during transportation and storage.

Red Jay is suitable for various applications: fresh consumption, whole-fruit canning, and decorating culinary dishes. Despite its high resistance to adverse conditions, the variety lacks resistance to cladosporiosis, requiring attention during plant care. When grown, it is recommended to form the plants into multiple stems to achieve maximum yield, which can reach 17 kg per square meter.
