Description
Romatiko is distinguished by high yield, reaching 71.5 kg per square meter over the entire fruiting period, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. The plant has a medium-branched and strongly leafy stem with dark green, medium-lobed, and slightly serrated leaves. The first flower cluster forms above the 5th-6th leaf, and on suckers — 1-2 leaves later, promoting synchronized and early fruit ripening. Fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning, thanks to their dense structure and resistance to cracking.
The Romatiko hybrid is recommended for cultivation under extended cropping systems on substrates and in light culture, allowing efficient use in greenhouse complexes. It was developed by Swiss breeders of Syngenta AG and adapted to various climatic conditions, as confirmed by its successful application in greenhouses. Due to its combination of early maturity, disease resistance, and high fruit quality, Tomato Romatiko is a profitable choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a stable and high-quality harvest.
