ROZMARIN POUND

Tomato Rozmarin pound is a medium-maturing indeterminate variety with a period from germination to fruiting of 111-115 days. It is intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and under temporary covers. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses at the beginning to mid-May, when plants reach an age of 40-45 days, and under warm weather, earlier transplanting in late April is possible. Plant shaping is done into a single stem, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting. The plant is tall, reaching a height of up to 150 cm, with a planting scheme of 40x60 cm.

The fruits of tomato Rozmarin pound are very large, flat-round in shape with a characteristic ribbed top, usually weighing up to 400 g, with individual specimens reaching up to 1 kg. Their bright pink color and sweet taste make this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption. The flesh has a tender, juicy, and "melting" consistency, and the content of provitamin A in the fruits is twice that of ordinary tomatoes. Due to these qualities, the variety is recommended for salad use, as well as for children's and dietary nutrition.

Rozmarin pound has high resistance to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium wilt, which significantly simplifies plant care. To prevent fruit cracking, it is important to maintain optimal air humidity and avoid soil drying. The yield of this variety is 8.0-10.0 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for greenhouse cultivation and obtaining a high-quality harvest.
