SAMKON

Tomato Samkon is a mid-season hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plants are determinate, reaching a height of 70 to 90 cm, and can grow up to 1.2 m in greenhouses. The fruits have a characteristic pepper-like shape with a small tip, are bright red in color, and possess a glossy surface. The length of the tomatoes ranges from 7 to 9 cm, and the weight varies from 95 to 110 grams. The flavor is tomato-like and balanced, making them suitable for various culinary purposes. A distinctive feature of the Samkon variety is its high yield, reaching 15-16.9 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to a wide range of diseases and stressful growing conditions. The fruits have a dense structure and high dry matter content, ensuring their prolonged preservation of marketable quality and good transportability. Thanks to these qualities, Samkon tomatoes are ideal for processing, particularly for producing tomato paste and whole-fruit canning. Tomatoes of the Samkon series are especially prized by home canners. Their elongated shape and dense flesh with small seed cavities allow their use for all types of canning — in brine, in their own juice, as slices, jars, or rings in small containers. Additionally, these tomatoes are excellent for drying and further use in salads and soups, making them a versatile and practical choice for gardeners and cooks.
