Description
The fruits of the Senbernar tomato have round or flat-round shape, smooth surface, and dark red color when ripe. Average fruit weight varies from 140 to 200 grams depending on growing conditions. Fruits are characterized by dense flesh, high juiciness, and excellent taste due to high content of dry matter and sugars, as well as minimal amount of pericarp juice and seeds. This makes tomatoes ideal for salads, fresh consumption, and canning.
The variety is resistant to cool climatic conditions, drought, and major tomato diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus and cladosporiosis. Due to this, less chemical protection is required during cultivation, enhancing the ecological purity of the harvest. The yield is high — up to 16-17 kg per square meter in the first harvest, surpassing many known varieties. Senbernar combines excellent taste, attractive appearance, and reliability in cultivation.
