Description
Shatil tomato fruits have an elongated-oval or flat-round shape with a smooth, glossy surface. In maturity, they are a vibrant red color with an orange tint, featuring juicy flesh divided into three seed chambers with a small number of seeds. Fruit weight ranges from 50-60 grams, ensuring good storability and transportability. This variety is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, whole-fruit canning, as well as for preparing salads, side dishes, soups, and sauces.
The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 8 kg per square meter in open ground and up to 32.4 kg/m² under optimal conditions. It is resistant to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, fusarium, and phytophthora, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. Due to its cold tolerance and adaptability, Shatil tomato successfully grows both in greenhouses, where fruits develop larger, and in open ground, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
