Description
The fruits of tomato Sibiryachok have round shape, red color, and dense flesh. Their weight varies from 90 to 100 grams, sometimes reaching 200 grams. The tomatoes have excellent taste and good commercial qualities, making them ideal for whole canning, as well as for making juices and sauces. Thanks to their dense flesh, the fruits can be stored fresh for 3-4 weeks, ensuring prolonged use of the harvest.
Growing this variety begins with sowing seeds in March on slightly compacted soil, followed by mulching and watering with warm water. After seedlings emerge, seedlings are kept at 15-16°C for 5-7 days, then temperature is raised to 20-22°C. Pinching is performed in the phase of 1-2 true leaves, and seedlings are transplanted into the soil in the phase of 8-9 leaves. Potassium fertilizer is recommended during fruit set to improve fruit quality. Harvesting is done as fruits ripen, and under-ripe tomatoes can ripen off the plant.
