SILETO

Tomato Sileto is a mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation in protected and open ground. The plant has a medium-height indeterminate form with green horizontally positioned leaves. The fruit is round or flat-round, bright red, without green spots, with a medium weight ranging from 140 to 197 grams. They are characterized by high density and uniform setting on the clusters, ensuring excellent market appeal and resistance to cracking. The vegetation period is approximately 70-75 days from seedling transplant.

The Sileto hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 18 kg per square meter, and can produce up to 6 kg per plant. Due to the dense structure of the fruit, tomatoes are well-suited for transportation and can be stored for up to 40 days under non-controlled conditions, making them convenient for distribution and long-term storage. The plant is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and on different substrates, including glass greenhouses and open ground, thus expanding its application possibilities.

Special attention has been given to the hybrid's resistance to major tomato diseases. Sileto exhibits resistance to tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, leaf spot (Stemphylium), nematodes, and other pathogens. This allows for significantly reduced risk of crop loss and decreased need for intensive chemical protection. Tomato Sileto is recommended for fresh consumption due to its taste, appearance, and long storage life.
