Description
The indeterminate variety SOLNYSHKO has a medium-early ripening period — 102-108 days from seedlings to fruiting. Plants are tall with unlimited growth, suitable for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as in plastic tunnels. The plant forms a single stem with removal of all suckers and pinching of the growth point at the end of the vegetative period, leaving 7-8 clusters. The first flower cluster is formed above the 9-10th leaf, subsequent clusters appear every 3 leaves. Flower clusters are complex, branched, without breaks, with 12-18, sometimes up to 30 fruits per cluster. Fruits are round, smooth, and even, weighing 60-70 g, light green when immature and bright yellow when ripe. They have excellent taste qualities and are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning.
Growing the indeterminate variety requires specific care: seedlings are sown at the end of February — beginning of March with transplanting in the phase of the first true leaf and the need for supplemental lighting. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses at the end of April — beginning of May, with a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. Plants require staking to support their tall growth. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, Cladosporium, and Fusarium, ensuring stable yields in greenhouse conditions at the level of 8-9 kg per square meter.
