Description
The fruits of tomato Suomi have a plum-shaped form, dark red color, and a weight of about 70-75 grams. They are distinguished by high uniformity, dense structure, and rich flavor due to good sugar-acid balance and high dry matter content (5.2-5.5%). The average fruit count per plant reaches 95-120, indicating high productivity of the hybrid. Due to the density and transportability of the fruits, tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, juice, paste, and whole-fruit canning.
Hybrid Suomi F1 has high resistance to several diseases, including fusarium and verticillium, as well as intermediate resistance to nematodes and bacterial spot. The plant is vigorous and robust, allowing for planting density of 27-30 thousand plants per hectare. Mechanical harvesting is possible, simplifying agronomic operations and increasing production efficiency.
