The 'Svetlyachok' (Firefly) variety is a result of breeding efforts by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, focused on achieving stable yields of large-fruited tomatoes. The key engineering aspect of the variety is the balance between vegetative biomass and the intensity of fruit development, which allows the plant to efficiently redistribute assimilates during fruit set.

Productivity Parameters

• Maturation Period: mid-season type (100–120 days from full germination to harvest). This interval ensures optimal maturation of fruit tissues, directly affecting the concentration of sugars and organic acids.
• Mass and Dimensions: the fruits are large, with an average weight exceeding 200 grams. The genetic architecture of the variety facilitates the formation of multi-chambered fruits with high fleshiness.
• Color Spectrum: the fruit palette ranges from deep red to pink, indicating a specific composition of carotenoids and anthocyanins in the epidermis and parenchyma.

The practical value of this variety lies in harvest predictability when standard agrotechnical practices are applied.
