Tatyana

The tomato variety Tatyana is a medium-maturing determinate variety with a compact bushy plant about 60 cm tall. The plant is characterized by strong branching and leafiness, as well as a sturdy upright stem. Leaves are medium-sized and green. Plants require staking and shaping, but do not require pinching. The variety is intended for open-field cultivation and is adapted to various climatic conditions, including northern and central regions, as well as zones with elevated temperatures and stressful conditions. The fruits of tomato Tatyana are large, flat-round, slightly ribbed near the stem, weighing from 100 to 150 g, sometimes up to 250 g. They have a rich red color when ripe, a thin glossy skin, and juicy flesh with an excellent fruity-sweet taste. Fruits form in clusters of 3-5 pieces, have high storability and good transportability, and are not prone to cracking. Due to these qualities, tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, such as for making juice and salads. The variety exhibits increased resistance to phytophthora and other diseases, as well as stress tolerance under unfavorable growing conditions. The plant tolerates high temperatures well and maintains yield even under difficult climatic conditions. Sowing seedlings is recommended in March–April, with the first flower cluster forming above the 6th–7th leaf, followed by subsequent clusters every 1–2 leaves.
