Description
The fruits of the 'Tender Heart' tomato are characterized by juicy, tender, and succulent flesh with a harmonious balance of sweetness and acidity, making them exceptionally tasty. Thanks to these qualities, the tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making salads, appetizers, purées, juices, and various preserves. The variety is renowned for its density and lack of watery texture, enhancing its versatility in cooking.
Growing the 'Tender Heart' tomato does not require complex care, making it an excellent choice for beginner gardeners. Seeds are sown in seedlings at the end of February or in March under plastic or glass coverings. After the first leaves appear, seedlings are pricked out into individual containers, and in late May or early June, they are transplanted to their permanent location. Timely watering, mineral fertilizers, and soil loosening are necessary for a good harvest. Depending on the fertility of the soil, one plant can yield up to 8 kilograms of fruit.
