The 'Tom Red' cherry tomato variety is an early-maturing, determinate type with bright red, round, smooth fruits of medium density. Each fruit weighs about 19 grams, and its flesh has a high content of sugars, organic acids, and vitamins, giving the fruits an exceptional dessert-like flavor. These tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning, making them versatile in culinary use. The soil should be light and nutrient-rich, and fertilization should be applied monthly from the emergence of the first sprouts until harvest.
