VALET

Tomato VALET is a semi-determinate variety developed by the breeding company Gavriš. Plants reach a height of 120-140 cm and form round-oval fruits weighing 90-95 grams. The variety is early, with a maturity period of 100-105 days from germination to harvest. The fruits exhibit high resistance to cracking, which helps maintain quality during harvesting and transport. VALET is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, making it attractive for agricultural cultivation.

For successful cultivation of tomato VALET, use light, nutrient-rich soils. Good predecessors include cucumbers, cabbage, legumes, onions, and carrots. Seeds are sown on seedlings at the end of March to early April, at a depth of 2-3 cm, after treatment in a potassium permanganate solution and rinsing with clean water. Pinching is performed at the 1-2 true leaf stage, and seedlings are fertilized 2-3 times with a complex fertilizer. Seven to ten days before transplanting into the ground, plants begin hardening off.

Transplanting seedlings into open ground occurs when the plants are 55-70 days old, after the threat of frost has passed. In the non-chernozem zone, this is typically from May 5 to June 10, and with temporary plastic coverings — from May 15 to 20. The recommended planting scheme is 70x30-40 cm. During the vegetative period, plants are regularly watered with warm water and receive 2-3 feedings with complex water-soluble mineral fertilizers, promoting full development and high yield.
