The operational maintenance is focused on constant vertical training; failing to secure the main stem properly can lead to structural failure once the heavy, heart-shaped fruit begins to develop.

Maintenance and Yield Management

Operators should focus on a one or two-stem formation strategy. Because the fruit consistently exceeds 200 grams, individual trusses may require mechanical support to prevent stem breakage. The variety is characterized by thin-skinned, pink flesh, which prioritizes flavor over transport durability. This makes it an excellent choice for local markets or direct-to-consumer sales where eating quality is the primary metric.
