Description
The JENUSHKA tomato is a medium-late indeterminate hybrid with plants up to 2 meters tall and moderate leafiness. Plants require staking and pruning, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting. Leaves are large and dark green, and inflorescences are intermediate. The peduncle has a joint, facilitating harvest.
Fruits are flat-round, smooth, and very firm, weighing from 140 to 170 grams. Immature fruits are light green, while ripe ones develop a rich red color. The number of locules in the fruit ranges from 4 to 6. The fruit flavor is excellent, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products such as juices and paste.
JENUSHKA has high yield: under film coverings, it reaches 10.5–11.5 kg per square meter, and in industrial winter greenhouses, 24–28 kg per square meter. The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases, including verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt, ensuring stable fruiting and high marketability of the harvest. Fruits retain freshness and appearance for up to 45 days both on the plant and after harvest, making the variety convenient for transportation and long-term storage.
