The winter triticale variety «Svisloch» is intended for grain use, including forage and food purposes. The plant is characterized by medium height and a semi-erect bush with an intermediate type. The ear is white, medium or long, dense, and fully awned, with a medium-intensity waxy coating. The sheath of the flag leaf is covered with weak or medium waxy coating. The grain is naked, yellow, semi-elongated, with a 1000-grain mass varying from 42.2 to 54.0 grams. The average protein content in the grain is 11.8%, which ensures good quality raw material for various purposes. The variety has medium resistance to major diseases, is weakly affected by brown rust, septoria, and ergot under field conditions, which contributes to crop stability and reduced losses. The flowering time of the variety is average, allowing adaptation to the conditions of the Central region, where it is included in the State Register. The hexaploid genome of the variety ensures its adaptability and productivity in the agro-climatic conditions of the region. The practical application of the variety «Svisloch» is confirmed by high yield indicators. In particular, in the agricultural cooperative «Svisloch» of the Grodno district, a gross yield of triticale of almost 6.8 thousand tons was obtained with a yield of 79.5 centners per hectare. This indicates the high productivity and reliability of the variety in real production conditions, making it an attractive choice for agricultural producers focused on obtaining quality grain and feed.
