Melon Amaltea F1 is an early seedless hybrid of the Sugar Baby type, of Dutch selection from the brand Rijk Zwaan. The vegetation period is 62-65 days from planting, which allows for an early harvest. The plant is powerful, strong, and well-leafed, possesses high stress resistance and productivity. For successful pollination, it is recommended to grow it together with pollinator varieties, such as Breton F1 or Yukon F1, and the planting rate is 6-8 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for growing in open ground and under film shelters in various regions of Ukraine.

The fruits of the Amaltea F1 watermelon have an oval shape and weigh 3-5 kg, with a dense and thick dark green rind covered with an even waxy bloom. The flesh is bright red, crunchy, seedless, hollow, and without veins, which ensures high quality and attractiveness of the fruits. The sugar content reaches 12-13% on the Brix scale, which is a high indicator for early varieties and guarantees a rich sweet taste and aroma.
