Developed by the IPOiB UAAS, the Anvik variety is a refined implementation of the Crimson Sweet genetic profile. The core breeding objective for this variety was to optimize the intersection between vegetation speed and marketable fruit weight, specifically for agricultural conditions in Ukraine.

Vegetation and Structural Growth

Anvik features a medium-early maturation cycle, ranging from 75 to 85 days. This duration is engineered to provide sufficient time for sugar accumulation while mitigating risks associated with late-season weather fluctuations. The round geometry of the fruit is a structural advantage, allowing for uniform load distribution, which enhances resistance to transit damage and stacking stress.

Internal Composition and Marketability

With an average weight of 6 to 8 kg, Anvik serves the professional retail segment effectively. The red flesh is defined by a dense cellular structure, a critical factor for maintaining texture integrity during post-harvest storage. By prioritizing structural stability, this variety provides growers with predictable yields, making it a reliable solution for those focusing on consistent market quality and standardized fruit size.
