Cantaloupe Celest F1 — a medium-early hybrid of Japanese origin, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is characterized by its strength and robust leafy canopy, which effectively protects the fruits from sunburn. The plants have good growth energy and are capable of forming several large fruits, ensuring high yield even under changing weather conditions and without regular care.

The fruits of the Celest melon have an elongated-oval shape with a smooth, striped green rind. The weight of one melon ranges from 9 to 15 kg. The flesh is bright red, juicy, with a rich flavor and aroma, containing a small number of seeds evenly distributed in the center. The sugar content in the flesh reaches 12-13%, making this variety particularly sweet and pleasant to taste.

The hybrid is resistant to common diseases of melon crops, as well as exhibits good field fruit retention: the fruits do not overripe, do not crack, and maintain their firmness. Due to these qualities, Celest F1 melons are suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, or processing. They also withstand long-distance transportation, making them popular for market sales.
